These recipes use fresh, local ingredients that you can find now at farmers’ markets (click here for a list of SF markets). They are also fast, easy, and tasty.
We especially liked Aparagus and Eggdrop Soup, Roasted Asparagus with Caper Dressing, Beets & Greens Salad with Cannellini Beans, Baby Spinach Salad with Raspberry Dressing, and Chard with Green Olives, Currants & Goat Cheese. All of these recipes are rich in folate, the form of folic acid found in foods.
