Where in the world are our Go Folic! Multis this month? Email us with your correct guess and if you’re the 15th person to get it right, you’ll win two free AMC movie passes (good at any AMC movie theater).
In line with our March emphasis on nutrition, our multis are hanging out with the fruits and veggies. They know that your body can make better use of them when they are taken with healthful foods. The location is, of course, in San Francisco.
So, here is how to enter the contest:
- Decide where the photo was taken.
- Email us your best guess at gofolic@yahoo.com by Friday, March 23 at 12 AM.
- Include your mailing address in case you win if you would like for us to mail your tickets; you can also pick then up at the Go Folic! office (and get some free vitamins, also).
- If you win, we’ll email you and arrange to get you the tickets.
- We will announce the winner on our blog, twitter feed and Facebook page on Wednesday, March 28 by noon.

We all do little things to keep ourselves healthy. Some of us walk to school or work instead of driving. Sometimes we turn off the TV and head outside. Some of us even take multivitamins with folic acid!
What creative things are you doing in your life to make yourself healthy? Our friends at ISIS, Inc. want to hear all about it!
Today is for Tomorrow is a preconception health campaign for young women (ages 16-24) in California. Preconception years are the years where you could get pregnant, choose to get pregnant, or are in between pregnancies. Not planning to get pregnant anytime soon? That is okay, staying healthy starts way before ever deciding to have a baby, and most of the small changes you can make today can make a big impact on your tomorrow.
If you’re a young woman between the ages of 16 and 24, you’re eligible to enter ISIS, Inc.’s Today is For Tomorrow contest. Let ISIS, Inc. know – in 140 characters or less – what things you do to keep yourself healthy. You’ll have a chance to win a $2,000 scholarship, Nintendo Wii, or other great prizes.

May is here! Which means a new schedule of events – starting with Mother’s Day and National Women’s Health Week, from May 8-14. It is going to be busy but fun. We are planning art activities, raffles for movie tickets and Safeway gift cards, and free vitamins.
On Mother’s Day weekend, write a message to your mom on our graffiti wall; we’ll take a photo of your drawing or quote that you can tag on Facebook and send as a Mother’s Day greeting. (Or we’ll take a photo of you standing in front of your quote and you can email it to her yourself!)
The theme of this year’s Women’s Health Week is “It’s your time!” As women, we always put our family, friends and romantic partners before ourselves. So when you come by our booth, put yourself first – pick up a bottle of FREE vitamins – it’s on us!

Many many congratulations to Haley B. of San Francisco! She guessed the correct location for our November contest, Dolores Park overlooking Mission High School. Did you know? The nearby Mission San Francisco de Asís is the oldest surviving structure in all of San Francisco, founded in 1776.
